Money-Saving Tips: 10 Places to Find Grocery Coupons {Part 2}

09.20.10

Welcome back to Money-Saving Tips, a series I am doing to share a few couponing basics. As promised, here are places 6-10 to find grocery coupons. If you missed 1-5, be sure to read Part 1 first.

10 Places to Find Grocery Coupons {Part 2}:

6. Facebook – Companies are tapping into social media and offering discounts and free products to their fans via Facebook and Twitter. Search for your favorite company, and look for a Coupons, Sweepstakes, or Promotions tab. You can also find Facebook coupons by searching for “Facebook” in the Frugal Femina Coupon Database.

7. CVS Price Scanner Machine – Scan your CVS ExtraCare card at the price scanner, and it might give you a coupon for a specific product or a certain amount off your purchase, such as a $4/$20 coupon. {My local CVS FINALLY got one of these, and it’s right at the front of the store. Yippee!}

8. Rite Aid Video Values – Rite Aid allows you to watch short videos and print coupons as part of the Video Values program, including a $5/$20 coupon. Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens are great places to get your toiletries for free so you can spend that money on groceries.

9. Company Websites/Snail Mail - Companies offer printable coupons on their web sites, and many are happy to mail coupons to loyal customers if you let them know how much you appreciate their products.

10. Coupon Database – Not sure if there is a coupon for a particular product you need? Search the Frugal Femina Coupon Database. It is updated regularly with the latest coupons from multiple sources.

Of course, there are lots of places to find coupons. I try to list mostly printable coupons in my weekly Kroger deals, because I know many people don’t get the newspaper. I also love when coupon angels leave them by the product on the shelf at Kroger. You can join coupon trains where you give away the coupons you don’t need and ask for the ones you do. And you can ask your friends to save their Sunday newspapers. Lots of people just throw the coupons away! You can also find coupons in/on boxes of products, with free samples, and tear pads/blinkies/peelies in the store.

Do you have any other favorite places to find coupons?
