I had lots of good teachers growing up. My teacher in first grade, Mrs. Barker, invited me to her house once to make cookies and hang out with my best friend, Sarah. My teacher in third grade, Mrs. Graff, ended up naming her daughter after me. My teacher in fourth grade, Mrs. Butts, gave me a special glass bowl her favorite teacher had given her. A teacher in college, Prof. Bruner, finally got me to understand why I didn’t want to write in passive voice, although I still do it all the time. At least it finally clicked! c-: The list goes on. I enjoyed school, and I had great teachers.
Tiny Prints would like to help the teachers who are getting ready for back-to-school activities. They can send each student a personalized greeting card, send parents thank-you notes, and celebrate student achievements with award cards. The personalized greeting cards are free starting Monday, August 2 – October 31, 2010. All you have to do is go to Tiny Prints and use the code APPLE2010 at checkout.
You can also participate in a Tiny Prints Twitter Party on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, from 4-5 p.m. EST. Use the hashtag #makeitpersonal.
