You may have heard me talk about ShopAtHome or Ebates before. Well, Mr. Rebates is another site you can go to if you’re shopping online and want to find a coupon or get cash back on your purchase. You know I don’t buy something unless I have a coupon of some sort! So if you’re ordering from Barnes & Noble, for example, you go to Mr. Rebates, do a quick search for Barnes & Noble, click on the link, and get to shopping. Right now, you would get 4% cash back in your account on whatever you purchase. Each store has a different cash-back amount.
Mr. Rebates also has special promotions sometimes, like $5 for every person you refer who makes a purchase, or 20% of every rebate your referred friend earns. As you know, I don’t recommend just shopping because there’s a good deal, but if you need to buy something anyway, you may as well get a little cash back. I recently made a profit on some shutters I ordered by combining a gift card and getting cash back!
Once you place an order, it will be placed in the Pending Rebates section for 90 days in case you decide to return the item. Then it will move to Available Rebates. Once you have $10 in your Available Rebates section, you can request payment by check or through PayPal. Simple as that!
Now, there’s not a rebate on Amazon.com, but you can win a $100 Amazon gift card, thanks to Mr. Rebates! Check out the details below.
