I did cardio intervals as part of my workout today. This was the first time I got up to an 8 in a workout. I found myself willing the clock to stop before the 7-8 intervals, but alas, it kept on ticking. I could not stay at an 8 for a full 3 minutes at a time, but I at least kept on going. I went back and forth between desperately needing some water and not wanting to throw it up. So…I would say cardio intervals are more challenging than giving birth without meds, but now I can say I’ve done both! Woo hoo!
Doing intervals definitely keeps me engaged and thinking about what I’m doing so I get a better workout. One of the last Mamavation Moms, Alyssa, said the intervals were a big reason she’s been able to reach her goals.
Now somehow I was moving, moving, moving all day and only got to 6,506 steps. Wow. On a side note, my son kept asking if I was slipping and falling during the Taebo workout. That’s just how coordinated I am, people!
I did not take my “free meal” today. Church was canceled because of the snow, and I did not want to waste my freebie on our local McDonald’s. Can you blame me? I mean Lisa did MUCH better than that!
So I’ll let ya know what yumminess I come up with for that later in the week.
