I got to explore the kiddo museum in Lexington, Ky., a couple of weeks ago. It’s called Explorium of Lexington, and let me tell you, I would like to go there every single day! It has so much to do, and it’s all very hands-on and educational. I especially loved their water features, but they also have sections devoted to space, science, dinosaurs, bubbles, puppets, and much more!
It kept Bradley occupied for hours. His favorite part was the John Deere Gator. He has a slight obsession, you know. Papaw keeps his John Deere tractor here at the farm, so that’s pretty much all I hear about. Occasionally B will want to talk about the bulldozer, but it always comes second to the ol’ John Deere!
They have an open art studio full of supplies for kids to create masterpieces. They have play horses, funny mirrors, BIG TEETH, planes to fly. Enough to keep Mama entertained just as much as the kiddos. You can follow Explorium of Lexington on Twitter, fan them on Facebook, and go visit them in person! They are open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6/person if you’re one year or older.
