CLOSED ~ Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion Giveaway

bottles2

It’s the season of giveaways in blogland, and I have another one for you today that might make a great stocking stuffer–especially at this time of year!

My husband has the most sensitive skin. When we first got married, he wore Old Spice because I loved the smell. But it made his skin dry and rashy. We searched for years {literally} until we found a deodorant that didn’t make him break out. {And yes, I did clear this with him before telling all of you about his skin issues.} :-) But he still has sensitive skin, and he’s not very consistent about putting on lotion. And by that I mean he never does it. So I was excited when Amber asked if I’d like to try out Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion, which is supposed to be really good for people with dry skin, eczema, and psoriasis. I’d love to take pictures over the next couple of months and see how Xon’s skin improves.

I also have dry hands since I’m a nursing student, and I’m required to wash my hands every time I go in a patient’s room and when I leave. So I was happy to try the lotion myself. The first thing I liked was the scent. It is hypoallergenic, fragrance, colorant and paraben free. So I feel comfortable wearing it in the hospital where people can be very sensitive to smells. The fragrance is very light and pleasant. I also like how it feels. A tiny little bit went a long way and made my skin feel silky and look shimmery. I haven’t ventured to my dry feet yet! :-0 I also like that it’s made in the U.S., and that you can even use it on your face.

In case you’re wondering what “shielding lotion” means like I was, it’s supposed to bond to your skin and protect your skin’s natural oils by keeping good things in and keeping bad things out. How’s that for technical language? :-) You can read more of the details of how it works here.

You can order a sample of Skin MD Natural here, and take a look at their Christmas specials. They offer free shipping on orders over $50. Or you can win a bottle here! Check out the details below.

I would love to try this on my face; it’s so dry that it peels but it’s oily and breaking out at the same time. Is there anyone else in the world with this problem? I’ve yet to meet one!

My husband is the same way as yours! And I still haven’t found a deodorant that won’t break him out! I also have mild psoriasis, and I think we’ve passed it on to our kids because they have the driest skin! We would love to try this out!
