Beautiful Christmas (on a budget) – Decorating Your Home

12.07.09

BeautifulChristmas-1

I don’t pay much attention to the calendar when I’m in school. I sort of go with the philosophy that if I don’t look at the date, the end of the semester will be there before I even realize it started. {Hey, it works for me, ok?} :-) So it surprised me a little when Kaley from Cha-Ching on a Shoestring asked if I wanted to be involved in a week-long series about how to have a beautiful Christmas on a budget, and I realized Christmas is only about 18 days away. Are you in the same boat? Well, Kaley is keeping me on track, and this week I’m teaming up with a few other bloggers to help give you some ideas for making your Christmas beautiful without breaking the bank. Here’s what we’ll be talking about:

Monday – Sharon from Good, True & Beautiful gets all crafty and makes a door wreath and other holiday arrangements for free!

Tuesday – I’ll be whipping up some goodies in the kitchen here at Frugal Femina to help you feel a little more festive.

Wednesday – Kaley’s talking about Christmas traditions at Cha-Ching on a Shoestring.

Thursday – Beckie from Infarrantly Creative will be helping us out with gifts.

Friday – Kaley will host a Mr. Linky at Cha-Ching on a Shoestring so you can share what projects you’re working on this Christmas.

Hope you’ll be able to join us each day. I’m so excited to be a part of this series–and frankly a little nervous everyone will find out I’m really not crafty. Really. But you probably already knew that, right? ;-)

So go check out Sharon’s post, and I’ll see you back here tomorrow!
