
Tammy over at Tammy’s Recipes hosts a weekly feature called Making Your Home a Haven. I’ve been browsing her articles, so I’ve been thinking about things I could do in the morning and evening to make the day go a little more smoothly. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:
MORNING ROUTINE
1. Have devotions/prayer time.
2. Study for school.
3. Exercise.
4. Make breakfast and eat with the fam. (Bradley and I like to read the Childhood of Famous Americans books during this time.)
5. Make bed after everyone gets up.
6. Put dishes away with Bradley. (He puts the silverware away.)
EVENING ROUTINE
1. Put Bradley to bed at 7:30. (This means pj’s, brushing teeth, reading books, reading Bible, praying, and singing. And cuddling, of course.)
2. Take vitamin.
3. Do dishes.
4. Spend time with Xon.
5. Read for fun!
6. Think about what meals we’re having the next day.
I’m still feeling out this summer schedule thing, because when I’m in school, I often have to stay up until 1 and get up at 5 so I can get enough studying in. The summer should allow for a few more tasks, though. I’m hoping to come up with a good schedule for the entire day within the next week. I’ll keep you posted. ![]()
